The Idea
Urban Karigar.Co started with a simple intention to bring hand-crafted clothing into everyday life.
We wanted to make clothes that feel natural, easy to wear, and made with care. Pieces that carry the value of traditional making, but still fit into how we live today.
Instead of creating more, we wanted to create better. Clothes that are comfortable, thoughtful, and meant to be worn often.
The Thought

Our vision is to make sustainable clothing a natural part of everyday life—easy to wear, thoughtfully made, and accessible to women who move through their day with purpose.
Through responsible materials and careful processes, we aim to give back to nature what we take from it. Each piece is designed to be worn often and lived in.
By keeping things simple and intentional, we hope to make conscious fashion feel effortless—so choosing better becomes a part of everyday living.
The Making
Everything we create begins with the hand.
We work with BCI-certified cotton—soft, breathable, and natural to wear. Each fabric goes through a careful, fully manual process: desized and washed multiple times, then bio-washed, dyed using azo-free dyes, and finished with manual screen printing.
Nothing is rushed. Each step is carried out with attention, allowing the fabric to settle into its final form.
Our colours stay close to nature—soft, quiet tones that are easy to wear. We produce in limited quantities, keeping the process thoughtful and free from excess.
What we create is simple.
